Mercury
Now that we are having more intrest and participation on soft plastics. How many would be intrested in a tackle swap?
BassnG3
I would be willing but not sure if it would be a fair swap! I'm still a newbie!! BassnG3
knifemaker3
I'm game, but I've gotta warn ya. All I have is 3 molds, 6" paddle tail worm, 4" crawworm, and 4" dropshot worm. Not much selection and pretty much everyday stuff. But, hey I'm in if ya'll will let me!
overkill
I'd be game, I will make a new mold for the swap, but will need time to order some supplies, I needed an excuse to order some new stuff anyway
Fireball Lures
You guys know you can count me in. Nathan
Senkosam
Sounds good to me, as long as the worms I can swap are not too complicated (i.e.Senko-type, StikO, Mann's Jelly worm, 8" Trick Worm etc.) I haven't practiced making thin-enough action-tails yet, but I have one and 2-part molds that produce fish catching baits. Even my laminates have done well. We could include our recipe for different worms (i.e. % of salt; drops of color/ qty. of plastic; hardener or softener added; floatation or drop rate etc.) Sam
Coley
I'll give it a try. Just let me know what to do. I have never tried anything like this before. Coley
Big Splash
I'm in too. Another rookie here, but I've been working on some new molds, and would like to get some baits out for others to try.

Mercury
Wholy smoke bat man! I never thought we would have that large of a list for a swap! I show 16 people that are up for this. We better put the cap on people that are to participate. We will hold at the 16 we have now. As for the rules that we should have in place, it should be just like what has taken place in the previous tackle swaps. 1 package, 10-12 items per pack. Items can be mixed styles. The items should be for bass fishing. Each person will send the packages needed for all participants including themselves. I should hope that the shipping is $6.00 (us) Since I have started this I will be the "Host" Payment for shipping should be in by 25th of Sept. The items should be recieved by Oct 10th, And will be redistributed and sent out the following day. Mail will be sent to Cool Lures P.O. Box 192 Rome IL, 61562
u63405
I'd be glad to participate.
basskat
OK, Let me get this straight. Do I send 16 packs of 10 -12 plastics or just one pack of 10 -12 plastics? I'm in either way, just need to make sure I send the right amount.
Mercury
Well we have 16 people that are participating in the swap. To be fair the packs should have 10-12 items each. Each person that is in this swap should send 16 bags. So their are 16 packs of bait with 10-12 items in each pack. Each person will recieve 1 package from each participant. When you get the baits it will seem like christmas hit early this year. If someone needs longer than OCT 10th deadline for the finished baits being sent, Please speak up now. redg8r
Looks like a great swap lineup fellas. I initially put alsworms on this thread since this is his forum, but since mercury feels up to it, he's the man to speak to on the swap. Mercury, you wanna give a paypal addy to let guys pay online? PM me if you need anything. Good luck All & I expect some cool pics soon!
Mercury
Good Idea red, Paypal addy is coollures@mchsi.com That is a bit easier than sending a check, M.O or what ever.
Delw
Mercury: cool idea. is it to late to get in? only problem is I dont pour anything differnt than most of you guys(except the colors) My daughter would like to get into this I am sure since she pours now. Mercury
I re-counted and it looks like we have 16 now. I dont see why we cant have Delw join in with all he has done for us. The list is bassng3, knifemaker, overkill, fireball SenkoSam, BigSplash BumBaits, BassKat, Ryno-Plastic**paid** KidLizard Al'sWorms**paid** FingerLakes**paid** Coley **paid** Siminole Fan U63405 Mercury and Last is Delw **paid** tubeman for a grand total of 17 packs per participant. (I wonder if Delw will be unveiling some new bait molds soon? )
Nathan
Hey Merc.,I know I'm not involved in this..but if you have 17 participants, shouldn't you only need to send 16 packs of plastics?..They don't need to send a pack for themselves..Nathan
