fishinator
I just received my glass bubbles (floater's) and I want to produce a drop shot bait that has neutral buoyancy. Does anyone know that approximate amount glass bubbles to use with 1 cup of plastic, a pinch of salt (taste), with some flake. Does it matter if the glass bubbles are added before heating or after? I only have a small sample of this stuff and very little plastic left so I can't afford to experiment a whole lot. I need some more supplies soon....Thanks Jason
nova
Make sure you use a mask. www.novalures.com
Dungeonhawk
i use just regular mf plastic and it floats by nature. so when i drop shot with my trickster worms it more or less stays out perfect... I think unless you are using a stick bait with salt, the plastic alone has a pretty close to bouyant property. correct me if im wrong? SwampBaits
I know I wouldn't want to use those bubbles. To much of a heath risk for me!
fishinator
I always where a mask and have a ventilation exhaust fan hooked up in my garage directly vented to the outside. I've worked with this stuff before in the aircraft industry and yes it is nasty stuff to breath in so a mask and ventilation is a MUST. I just want to make a few drop shot baits for myself. I was thinking it would be awesome to also have some super floating baits for the carolina rig!! Somebody must use this stuff??...or is it one of those well kept secrets?
