cwenbass
I am officially hooked on pouring my own baits. I am going to pick up a stick mold from Del in a few weeks. While considering it, i was playing around with adding salt to my beavers. The problem I have, is that all the salt seems to get stuck to the bottom and not much gets in my beavers. I am not really concerned with this for my beavers however, I plan on heavily salting stick baits. What can I do to remedy this problem? dampeoples
You have to stir, stir, stir. Also, what type of salt? Some suspends better than others
saint308
Stir, stir, and then stir some more. You should stir after every other pour at least. Hope this helps. Saint.
cwenbass
I use regular table salt. I have a grinder too if that helps.
saint308
Grinding it wouold help it suspend, but will hurt the color more. At least this is what I think. Saint.
