jigman
Has anyone poured spinnerbait heads with Tin. Is it different than pouring lead? thanks
dlaery
I have poured Tin in do-molds and it seems to pour the same as Lead. It melts at a lower temp.

donkjc2
Mcmaster-carr.com has it for about 14.50 a pound.
dlaery
Do a search on "non-ferous metal". Tin is "lead-free" solder. This might give you some better hits. Don't be supprised if it cost $10 a lb or more. If it is less, I would say its a bargin. If you want to buy 500lbs or more, the price would be aroud $7 or $8.
