WidowMaker Posted January 26, 2007 Report Share Posted January 26, 2007 I use a shallow pan that is square shaped and pour the lead in thin layers. The lead cools quickly and stacks flat. haybay larry Posted January 27, 2007 Report Share Posted January 27, 2007 Guys, I prefer to use a plumbers ladel. It creates ingots [round] that are about 3-4 lbs with lead in them. I use this version because i melt down larger amounts of lead from old telephone line sleeves. A torch works well for these.
