braveviper
A couple of questions. Can you use food coloring in plastic from LC?Does anyone use regular table salt? Which formula is most popular for stick baits the 502 or 536? Thanks.
COBRA
i use 502 on sticks, 536 is super soft, i use diamond crystal salt, same you use for table, i never tried food coloring, i wouldnt either. it will boil and make your pyrex explode or send molten plastic flying, not cool. just dont use it. BassnG3
Soft is good in my opinion, that's what gives the sticks the right amount of action. Too stiff not as much action. The reason I started making my own sticks was to save money because senkos tore so easily. Scott
earthworm77
Take a look at Ozark Tackle. They make a very good plastic that I use over everything now.

jmik26
Braveviper - If you use hardener Its kinda hard to mix with plastic good. However I found a great way to do it. Take a old 20oz pop bottle and clean out good and let dry. Take some plastic uncooked and put it into the bottle, add harder, screw on cap and shake the crap out of it. Works every time for me...
