Z-Reel
When I make a two peice POP mold, such as a stick bait style, I always have air pockets around the cavity on the top half. The bottom cavity turns out perfect. I poured the top half a second time with a thinner POP and it seemed to help, but still there were some bubbles. What am I doing wrong ? nova
Could be a couple of things. You may have the mold release too thick; or there may be air bubbles suspended in the second batch. Try tapping the container before you put the pop into the mold to make the bobbles rise. If that's not it try applying the pop for the 2nd pour gently; even using a brush to cover the master and mold to eliminate air pockets. Do not pour the second batch too quickly into the mold as this in itself can cause bubbles. Hope this helps. www.novalures.com
Z-Reel
Thanks, Nova I think slowing down the pour might be a big help, I always worry about the POP setting up to quick and I do get in a hurry to pour. Thanks
