Gloomisman Posted January 29, 2007 Report Share Posted January 29, 2007 I tried to dip tubes last night and it took me 20+ minutes to get what I thought was a decent tube. I managed to get the tube off the rod and it collapsed. (plastic too soft) So I guess on avg, how long does it take to dip tubes and get a good hand dipped tube? I bet I dipped the thing 30-40 times before I got the thickness to about 3/16-1/4"approx. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
earthworm77 Posted January 30, 2007 Report Share Posted January 30, 2007 Your plastic is too hot. You should be able to accomplish a standard double dip tube with little effort.
