finlander
Just saw this at a Hobby Lobby tonight. Pricey for me at $250. Looked at Bear Air site but they do not carry it. Anyone own an Iwata? Supposed to be quiet. Thanks.
Snax
I own an Iwata Sprint Jet and Hammerhead compressor. You can't go wrong with Iwata for quality and customer service.
gtlegs
If you are going to get the one at hobby lobby, get on hobby lobby's website and they have a web coupon each week and most of the time it is 40% off any item!! -Trey
finlander
I knew they had that, seems like every other week they run the coupon. My $60 compressor sounds like a jack hammer so much so that I did not even fire it up tonight after I brought home some new paints. I just brought out the paint brush and dabbed them on where I neeeded the color. Bad thing is it seems to kick on alot and it's not fun to be in the vicinity. Ready for a quiet one or get out the ear muffs I have from my days working at the airport. Maybe build a wooden crate to cover it with. finlander
Would I lose pressure at the AB if I ran a longer hose. from another place in the basement?? If this would work, is one hose better than another???? A rubber one rather than a coiled plastic one? Thanks. This would be alot less than a new compressor...
