wannabefishing
Just wondering how you went about designing/creating your logo... i've got an idea in my head of what i want, but i have the sketching/drawing abilities of a 1st grader... thought maybe someone had an interesting idea on how to design one, or whom to contact about designing one as i know most here have one... Delw
"but i have the sketching/drawing abilities of a 1st grader.." That statement is not true, you have the sketching/drawing abilities of a 30-40 year old a 1st grader can make exactly what you want. LOL My daughter did mine and has done a ton of them, my little daughter 6 years old is better than she is and does it by hand. find a kid to do it ie young adult at your local highschool

printertom
hi wannabefishing, the best way to do a logo is like del said get some one to draw it and ten take it down to your local mom and pops printing company ask them if they have a designer in house which they proably will they will charge you like 40 to 70 dollars and hour to scan you sketch and touch it up in spot that you want ajusted pick fonts and such they should be using a adobe software if there not go some where else hopefully there using adobe indesign as a program it is the standard for printing and sign making after you have paid them to make it a indd file they should able to change it into a pdf. (printable doucment file) for you and email it to you for use on your computer all you have to have is adobe acrobat on your pc tell them to save it as low res pdf so that it look good on computer screen high res look pixel on computer montiors it my cost you a hundred dollars total that on the high said if it were my family print shop but any way it well worth the money because you than have a usable logo for what ever you need shirts flyer brochures etc. they will always have it on the sever in there print shop so if you take out ads or need it for a different company use all you do is call them and have then email it to that company that is a service all printshop offer but don't tell you about becasue they don't want to be bother to take two mins but you pay them for that right. sorry so long wind i'm too in my mid twentys but have been in the printing world for 8 years it is complicate and hard to get straight answer from printer so it help to be a little knowlagble we you start the proccess also printshop have ton of clip art and change the clip art you like in so many way that it will never look standard if you can get a good drawing that is but sound like del daughter might be the ticket good luck hope you can find a good printshop to work with any qeustion i be glad to answer them thomas
