"EYE" DOCTOR
This is my first post and im trying to find a book or information regarding the use of the Hagens wire former. I can make inline spinners just fine but i would like to make spinnerbait forms and quick change snaps ect ect. I would like to know if there is a book or reference manual out there? The instructions that came with it are vague at best and im hesitant to go "free form" because there are no reference marks to reset it. It would also seem that the adjustments are unlimited and the task never too hard. That being said i can normally figure things out for myself but i dont think it will do what they advertised it will. I currently make vibrating lures and spinner jigs and many other special lures that i use myself. I will be willing to share some information on the others for some information on the wire former. dlaery
I have a bender but not very experienced. Did you get any instructions with the former? The instructions are pretty basic. I have a copy if you need them. On there web site they have a video of some basic bends. http://www.hagensfish.com/
"EYE" DOCTOR
The "instructions" i got were a 3 step bend for a straight spinner. The paper they were printed on resembled a matchbook cover. Thank you for the web site. The videos wont play for me right now but maybe they will later. For the price of these things you would think good instructions or the video would be included. Can you copy your instructions onto this post? dlaery
On the videos it will take a long time for them to download before they will play. I looked at your other post about the instructions, I will look at what I have and if it is different I will make a copy to you.
