dampeoples
Use purer lead, preheat and smoke the mold helps too.
siebler_custom_baits
A higher temp lead will also help, Between this and what was laready listed youll get it. Ie also notice with some molds that preheating the hooks/wire forms will make the mold pour a whole lot better, Never had a problem with the bullet bass however. wilfish4774
That and I sometimes try angling the mold one way and the other and adjust the rate of pour. It might be a drastic move but opening up the mouth of the jig mold a small amount might do it.
fish devil
I think its not hot enough. I use a presto hot plate and turn the temp to 300-400 deg. I put my molds that I am going to use on the hot plate and let them warm up while the lead is heating. 5 minutes before I pour I put the hooks on the hot plate. I started doing this during the winter b/c one of the bays I use in my shop has no heat. I get a very good pour success ratio like this.
