Hookset
Could someone tell me the basics for pouring a two color worm? I'm a rookie and was looking to do something simple like red on the bottom and back on top.........any tips would be much appreciated. nova
Make sure that your molds are really warm first of all. This will help to eliminate "cold cracks". The time you wait between the first color and the second color can vary depending on the finished product you are after or the effect you are trying to create. Either way the second pour has to be hot so as to make a good connection to the first color. Give it a try and play with the time between the pours until you get the effect you want. Hope this helps and show us some pics. www.novalures.com
saint308
If you are using a one piece, just pour your bottom color first and wait a bit, then pour your top. With a 2 piece, seperate the mold. Then pour your bottom color. Put the mold back together and pour like you normally would. Saint.
