unc_ross
While casting for musky on the James River today I hooked this 20 1/2" 4 1/2lb smallmouth. That's exactly what I needed tugging back and me and getting the rust out of my gears! I was pretty excited about my first fish of the year. Jason
Very nice smallie! Still iced out here. My first fish was a 6.4 pound pike through the ice. It was my buddies tip up I was watching for him while he was gone. I caught it, he claimed the victory

Fish_N_Fool
You lucky SOB!!!!! LOL I thought i might be able to be fishing by now as I got my first fish last year on march 2nd and 2 weeks ago the snow had all melted and it was in the 40's and raining alot. Then last week we got a cold snap and it snowed a foot! GRRRRRRRRRRRRRR so my favorite early spring pond still has a foot of ice on it and I anit happy about it. I'm so bored I'm playing with new baits in the bathtub. LOL My wife caught me playing with my new worm the other day then I was in da tub. LOL Talk about embarrassing! I told her I had to see how well it sank. She thinks I'm nuts but luvs me anyway.
