rofish
Lexan is something I cannot find on the market in Romania. So I looked for alternatives. I came across a PETG material, imported from England. Their site tells me it's a wonder material. But is this so? Has anyone tried it yet? I would surely like to have some impressions from some crankbait makers's point of view. The smallest ouantity I can buy is 2050 x 1250 mm. Enough for some decades. The price is not very popular. So what do you say? http://www.bayplastics.co.uk/Product%20Materials/prod-barlo-spectre.htm
fatfingers
The info you provided says they use if for bicycle helmets. Must be pretty tough stuff.
BobP
Lexan is the GE Corp. brand name for polycarbonate, which is widely used for shatter resistant windows. It has been around since the 1940's and there are many producers. You can typically buy it in 1'x1' sheets at home improvement stores here in the US.
