Any one have any ideas? Or is there a way I could do a blue gill pattern without scales, and with a brush? Thanks for any suggestions. That will prevent the paint from getting too thick and running together. It takes some practise but once you get it you will be doing it in your sleep. Hoodaddy Posted February 27, 2007 Report Share Posted February 27, 2007 Theres a method in doing ceramics called dry brushing. If you are using waterbased paint....load your brush lightly then brush out a lot of it on a peice of cardboard so you only have a light color on it then try brushing over the netting.
