Celticav
For blue herring, I like to use a white body with a blue top, a silver body with a violet top works well too. The smoke/blue gill pattern from stamina's standard skirting pads is great to mimic herring. If you look down to Fat Ratz post on rainbow spinnerbait you will see a fine example of a rainbow copycat that is sure to fool them. A buzz bait that doesn't run straight could be the blade is bent or the wire needs tuning. This could happen if you used a trailer that was oversized too. If you mean the body lays to one side and not straight up and down it is generally wieght to blade size that causes this, a torque problem. But thats not always the case... I have recently got some minnow heads that will not run right no matter what I do to them, all they want to do is lay over, this is the head design not being suited for a buzzbait and not a torque problem at all. Which did you mean? JIM

BassReeper
Alot of Buzzbaits do that. Make sure the blade arm is in line with the hook. IF not you might play with the blade some but when I have gotton a buzz that is tuned and want run straight. I have yet to find a way to make it run correctly. It can be frustrating have a bait that want run correctly. Get yourself a Boogerman buzz and you want have that problem. If you don't need it to clack just bend the blade arm out some so it want. Works great and you want have those kinds of problems with it. Reeper
