Are there any other hook options for the 1 oz. 1.5-oz. mold besides the 7/0 hook suggested? Does anyone know of an easy modification? Any info would be great. siebler_custom_baits Posted March 8, 2007 Report Share Posted March 8, 2007 Im sure there is, i just dont know off hand. My suggestion would be to call Do-it or stamina and ask them. The guys at do-it are fairly good to deal with. Stamina is great however unless they carry the hook they probably wont know. Another option is call mustad. LedHed Posted March 13, 2007 Report Share Posted March 13, 2007 In order to use these hooks in your mold you will have to take off the center eye post from the mold. I use a Dremel and take off very little at a time. You might have to add some RTV to the hook channel to keep the hook on center.
