Green_Fingers
Cheers Phil, I like it! I think I am going to have a look at the old school models for a bit of inspiration! Simon
nova
Great site Phil. I'm sure that most of us have some old lures kicking around. Why don't we post some pics of them for all to see? I've got a couple; I'll dig them out in the next couple of days and post some pics. Should be interesting to see and you never know; someone might have one that's worth more than they think. www.novalures.com
philB
Hi Fellas I was really impressed with this site, it is rare to come across such a comprehensive collection of information. I was interested in the patterns used on the old lures, most of them are used today in one way or another. I was also interested to see how brutal some of these were as well, all hook and barb . philB
nova
Phil; I bought some books years back on hardbaits(antiques) to get a look at colors and I saw the same thing. Not much on color but a big emphasis on the business end of things;lol. Some of them really look mean. I've got one bait that's probably 100 years old with origional hooks and they are still sticky sharp. www.novalures.com
