RiverMan
Anyone doing this? I want to try a new brush for applying the etex and want to make sure I have a way to clean it out after I'm done. I did a search on the topic and found guys were using denatured alcohol and acetone with Devcon and wondered how either of these products worked on etex. Thanks guys. Lure--Prof
I squeezee out the excess with a rag and then dab the brush in a puddle of alcohol. Next I dab it about in another puddle until the brush appears clean. Then I clean it with a little dish soap in the kitchen and rinse thoroughly. Acetone works also, but the alcohol is a bit nicer to the nostrils. Dean

philB
Hi Riverman I use Ethyl Acetate. Not to everyones liking though as it is an extreme solvent and care should be taken when using it but it is truly the best cleaner. philB
