savacs
Does anyone know how to obtain a matte finish? I certainly don't, even tough i tryed to find a source that could enlighten me. Do such resins exist? Meanning: instead of getting a clear glossy finish u obtain a clear matte finish.
mark berrisford
as i remember from an earlier post on here top coat as normal then sand with a very fine paper under a running tap was one method but i think it looks no different from a normal finish under water
bamabass
http://www.hofcraft.com/patricianimockclearacrylicsealer.htm Spray the MATTE over your epoxy until desired matte is achevied.i also use it to apply thin coat between colors to make sure i dont mess up.you can also use the gloss for a glossy finish good luck
Jason
Krylon sells a flat finish spray paint that you spray over the existing paint.
spare tire
I put some dnatured alchahol on a paper towel and gave the lure a quick rub, this took the sheen off. But under the water everything looks gloss. But out of the water it gives it an older look if that is what you are after.
