Jason
Thanks for the compliments guys! I decided to fill the wholes down the side of the lure. It was supposed to represent the latteral line, but I filled them with wood filler. I can always paint a line on.

Jason
Thanks Tuningguru. It's going to be roughly 5 1/2". I'm going to make a 10" version next.
StoneCoal Tackle
Good looking trout Jason, what kind of trout is it going to be? I vote brookie!
vhype
I use cotter keys to attached the jointed parts together. Pre-drill the holes and link up two cotter keys and insert one with one-ton epoxy. Do one side at a time and it will hold any fresh water fish. The problem I have with making trout baits is balancing the weight to get the plug to swim!
Jason
Good looking trout Jason, what kind of trout is it going to be? I vote brookie! Thanks Daymon, I think this guy is going to be a brown trout or rainbow. I still haven't decided. Thanks Vhype for the suggestion!
