PaMuskyHunter
What you all think? The one on the left is 7" long with 2 #8 colorado blades, 3 glow in the dark silicone skirts and 2 VMC blood red 3/0 hooks. The right one is also 7" long with 2 #7 indiana blades 1 glow in the dark skirt and 1 VMC blood red hook.

tinman
Great looking spinners. Those double blades are all the rage in the musky world. Gonna have to make some up myself for the opener. Never tried any glow skirts (for Musky, just salmon). Have you tried them yet?
PaMuskyHunter
I took them out today and seen how they worked, awesome flash and vibration from the blades, the skirting has awesome flutter to it also. Here's a gratsilverglitter with a #8 colorado

EC Musky Dude
Great looking bucktails PA! A great hobby, especially during those winter months - takes the edge off until spring. I've been making similar bucktails and will post some pics soon. With the silicone, not only does it look better in the water IMO, but it eliminates the need to tie hair - which is something I don't have the patience for. PaMuskyHunter
The paddle tail is made by culprit, here the linky http://http://www.culpritstore.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=71_80 i use the 5" version, they have awesome tail action that drives muskie crazy. EC i like those bucktails, one thing though, the rubber band u might want to put some superglue or something around them, they tend to wear out kinda quickly willie the buzzbait has some of the best action i have ever seen out of a buzzbait, its gonna be a winner for me this year
EC Musky Dude
Might have to try to superglue, you put in on the outside of the band or whole thing or what? I might use some small zip ties as well, I've made skirts with just those and they last but its tough to get the material evenly spaced. PaMuskyHunter
I put the glue all around on the outside of the rubber bands,i also have used zip ties, i super glue them also, just to be same, you know how muskies can tear up stuff. Jolly Esox
Nice lures. Where did you get the red hooks? What size are they? I've been looking for musky size colored hooks with no luck. I like the skirts, might have to give them a try on mine. Thanks, Nate
