oldthunder
Hey guys.......I know that plexiglas is more brittle than lexan, but has anyone experimented or is using plexiglas as a lip material? The 2 materials seems very close in structure and workability and I was just wondering on the pros and cons of using plexiglas. Any opinions........ Lure--Prof
Plexiglass is inferior as a lip material compared to polycarbonate, or Lexan as it is often known (G.E.'s brand name). It IS more brittle, especially so in cold weather. Good luremakers don't let others use bad materials, when better are available. Hand me your keys, and when you sober-up, we'll go down to the lexan shop and look at some real lip material. Dean
