lilcraw
I am starting to pour some Drop Shot weights and the swivels I got must be the ones that eveybody talks about "the Cheap Ones" because about only 3 out of 10 will swivel with ease. I have read about making sure you get GOOD QUALITY swivels, but how can you tell they are, before buying ??? NO ONE is going to advertise there as "the cheap ones that don't work" the ones I have now don't even swivel smoothly before I pour them:flame: Thanks for any suggestions............... cadman
lilcraw, I pour 100's of dropshot weights for my club, and the rest I sell. I don't know where you bought your swivels, but I bought mine from Do-It molds company. I paid $58/1000...I don't know if it's high, but at the time they were the only ones that sold them. I have never had any problems with them. I, like many others, look for the cheapest route, to save money. I also get burned sometimes, live and learn. The best way to see if what you want works, is buy a small package first, then buy your bulk quantities later. Maybe you can tell this guy you bought these from, that they are , and he can give you your money back, or credit.....
lilcraw
Thanks Cadman I paid 7.95 per 100 and got them from Lurecraft. I will sure try Do-It though cause I KNOW these are going to cause line twist out the butt. Thanks again
dampeoples
Look up member plop, he's got some for about 1/2 what you paid, sent me some samples, don't see why he wouldn't fix you up as well.
ol_grayfeather
Barlow's has the Do-it swivels for $6.95 per 100 (62.55 per 1000) I poured 50 or so the other night and they all seem to turn just fine.
