MDC
Try it with the colors you have first. You may have to adjust it a bit, but that will get you real close. I think this color is more about the quantity of green flake than matching the purple perfectly. I would also use large and small flake and pile it on. Hillbilly lures
really thankyou, but for me it is about the color.I like the darker purple instead of the see thru purple and gambler is dark.thankyou
flabasspond
Hillbilly, you are correct...The Gambler Junebug is more of a Black Grape / Green glitter, as compared to say a Zoom or Berkley junebug, which is more of a reddish purple/ green glitter...its just us old school Florida guys who refuse to give up our "Florida Grape" (WARNING "seventies term")which is a dark (purple based) grape...A good match is my "Kissimmee Chain Junebug" recipe which is as follows... (This recipe also splits in half well for 4 oz.) ...... 8 oz. plastisol of choice 24 drops MF indigo 4 drops MF strawberry red 4 drops MF black 1/2 teaspoon total of green glitter , personally I like at least two sizes of green glitter...I like a mixture of medium and "rat hair" glitters. Remember, at least for me, green glitters dont seem to do well in reheats...they almost seem to disappear...good luck.....Dave
saint308
Yeah... I notice that tonight about the green glitter. Half seems to disapear, and a quarter of the other half seems to turn blue. Other than that, everything is groovy. Saint.
Richard Prager
Senko Sam's green glitter can take many re-heats. It doesn't curl or turn blue. All of his glitters hold up and you get more bang for your buck. If you order, let's say 2 ozs.........that's at least what you get. The container does not get weighed in!!! He's also a TU member. http://senkosam.tripod.com/
