__gabby
After I paint The jig i take a drill bit a clean out the paint from the weed guard hole. Then I Use a small amount of super glue to glue the weed guard in place. The Problem is the super glue runs up on the weed guard making in stiff, and sometimes when you bend it back and forth the weedguard will come out. Im sure there is a better way to do it im just dont know what that is. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks __gabby.
gtlegs
Try the lock-tite gel super glue, it does not seep up the weedguard. -Trey

Gloomisman
I use epoxy works good. The gel probably would too. The problem with Super glue is what you found to thin. To keep the paint out of the hole put a pin in it when you dip it in the paint. Then pull it out with pliers.
Tr186
I am with Gloomisman, Devcon seems to be the easiest and best thing I have used.

JIGNPIG
Gabby, go to Home CHEAP O, or Lowe's and buy some 1/8 wooden dowels. Then cut them into one or two inch pieces, then heat and dip the jig, then dip into a water bath, pull the dowel out, and then bake to cure the paint. Or just have them in if you are brush painting. That way you don't ruin the mold pins. All so Devcon is the best way to go to glue in weed guards!
ghost
Where can you buy Devcon? Is that something I can pick up at Wal-Mart?
Tr186
Wal-Mart paint dept.. Buy the 30min not the 5. It is about $2 for enough to do thousands of weed guards.
