dampeoples
I wouldn't bother with a call at his point, if they do it to everyone, they'll eventually lose all kinds of business, and if it's not fixed after your initial call, they can sit around wondering why! SwampBaits
With one vendor my orders get messed up 60% of the time (truth). But we always work through it!
Richard Prager
You might try to see if they'll make good one more time. If they're not responsive, and if you paid by credit card call your CC company. When the people you did the business with find out they might get a chargeback, they usually will make good to avoid the chargeback against them. If they don't, you'll most likely get your money credited back to your account.
Predator Bass Baits
Most businsses are good about making right and if no one calls everytime it happens hey will never know, if it was only one call then it could be considered a fluke. jmik26
I would call just to get a refund and tell them you are shipping the damaged product back to them. If at that point they give you static, move on to another supplier. If they handle the situation well, be thankfull that they have great customer service. I would think if this happens alot someone will look at the books and make an educated decision to spend 4 cents on 8" of tape, I hope
Gloomisman
I got some highlight once from a company. Should have got it from del. The highlight was all over the outside of the container. Well once I figured it out looked like I was at a night club. Had highlight glitter all over my face. Laughed for about an hr. If it was me and sounds like you do quite a bit of business with them. I'd call them up again let them know your getting tired of sup par product and ineffective packaging.
saint308
I am pretty sure I know who you are talking about, but why not put the name out so others won't have to deal with the same problems. Generally bad publicity will either fix the problem or force them out of business. Either way it is thier choice to make. Saint.
nova
Wow Tom. I've only had a problem once in the past 15 years. It happened to be fine red glitter and you're right it is a mess. Opened the box in the kitchen and the ceiling fan happened to be going. The stuff went everywhere. Wife was not impressed. They gave me credit for it. www.novalures.com
Vodkaman
I find that a letter gets more response than a call. A polite but firm letter, explaining the history, is the best action in my humble opinion.
bassjunkie
Hello all first post here.... Always let you suppliers know that they had an issue. If you do not they will "assume" that everything was fine. The size of the issue and frequency that is happens will let you know if you should reject the order and send it back. This is what they do with there suppliers. If the problem does not get fixed find a new supplier and roll on. Thats my 2 cents

saint308
Ok... Let me clarify what I meant in my post about publically mentioning the name of a company that had done you wrong. I do not want anyone to think I am the kind that slanders people for no reason. I like to think I am a friendly little cajun that does not want to hurt or offend anyone. I believe you should always go to the company first and present your problem. If they do not correct the problem then go public. I may have misunderstood the original post from printertom. I thought he was saying that he was not getting anywhere by complaining to the company and this was an ongoing battle, and that is why I said to go public. Man I feel like a politician back stepping like this. I need a cold one. Saint.
