M.F. Super Soft to M.F.Regular

Can the same 1/4 cup softnener to one cup Regular ratio to soften plastic be used in reverse using hardener to toughin' up S.S. for pouring a few Hawg'z Frawgz with the Super Soft?

I'll be pouring more Hawg Hunna Lures "Weapons of Bass Destruction" Dropp Styx (Senko Type Styx) than anything...there for ordering 5 gal. Super Soft.

Or should I just order a gallon of regular instead of a quart of hardener?

I'd go with a gal of regular. The hardner is a major p.i.t.a to work with...it's like trying to pour peanut butter.

Yep, what he said. I actually order SS by the 5 gallons and regular for frogs by the gallon. Saint.

Hawg, 1.4 S.S. to 1.0 Hardner is close to M-F reg. Is what M-F told me.

I used it the other day and was satisfied.

try to pour some lizards with SS it didn't go so good try to add some hardner but didn't use enough thanks for the fromula jim so you add 1oz of hardner to every 1.4oz of plastic is that right sound like alot

Yup,

I thought it was alot as well and when it poured it was a little thick But it made a nice bait. not a hard one but a durable one.

I ended up using 1.5 to 1.0, did not want to figure out the .4

so I poured 6 cups SS with 4 cups Hardner.

I poured Bobs 2 piece frogs and craw molds with it. (do not add salt.)

Also you can mix softner to hardner and make ss or reg. I think it was 5 cups softner to 3 cups hardner to make reg.

This is with m-f products, do not try with other brands or mix other brands, I tried and it did not work, I have a block if anyone wants a rubber anchor, LOL
