Guess what I'm looking for is say if you have a base coat of enamel or acrylic or vinyl then what can you use to overcoat. Similarly, which types of clear coat work with what types of paint. mikel7@mac.com Posted April 10, 2007 Report Share Posted April 10, 2007 devcon 2 epoxy seems to work over just about anything a little slow drying, i put it in a toaster oven on real low heat for 5 or 10 min. that helps a lot, i'm talking about jigs though not cranks.
