nova
Tom, I use a box cutter. I get them at the dollar store. The salt in the bait dulls the edge quickly if you make a lot of baits. www.novalures.com
bassnfool
Just use a single edge razor blade. Press it straight down to guillitine it. Quick, easy, and cheap.

Husky
I know this is an old thread but I've been using a Roller Cutter (like the ones they use for cutting material. It looks like a mini pizza cutter only it has a round razor blade). It is fast and flawless.
GB GONE
I like the round razor!!! I use a pait of pre-curved surgical scissors I received from a surgeon friend. These are the best scisors you can find as they are pre-curved so you can trim curved edges plus when you snip of the end of a bait like a stick, the end is slightly rounded... In addition, they are stainless steel... If I can get more I will let ya'll know as I would not part with my pair for anything! Jim

These are called operating scissors with curved blade.
GB GONE
Very similar however the scissors I use have much shorter cutting blades. Cutting blades might be 3/4" or slightly less. I am sure these would work well also!! Jim
