One Sock
I know some here don't want to give away the secrets of their plastics, but for those who do want to share, what type of salt do you use for your baits and do you need to do anything to it first? I use a very fine popcorn salt from a local organic store, pretty cheap and all I have to do is add and stir. what about the rest of you????? baj435
Sock i use del's salt. I don't think it matters a whole lot what kind of salt it is. I am new to pouring but i have read ten thousond threads on this subject from here, and have came up with a couple of conclusions. If you add salt to baits color gets lighter, heat the salt before adding, buy fine salt or grind it (debateable), Salt makes your baits sink, may have to raise the temperture of you mix inorder to pour, and Stir Stir Stir Stir. wannabefishing
it removes any moisture that may be in it... and you heat it in the oven i like Dels salt best, trying to find some of the diamond salt that everyone seems to be using tho

One Sock
That's what I use(popcorn salt) and I never have to heat it up first, lots of stirring though. I would be hard pressed to use anything else. It seems to work real well
