Wisgibson
Howdy! I discovered this wonderful resource just a couple days ago, though I've been a tackle diy-er since I picked up a pole long ago. You've already inspired me to a couple projects. first - repaint some poorly painted plugs out of the bargin clearance bin. second - try pouring my own hard bait. I'm headed into Canada in July. I also saltwater fish on the west coast occasionally and want to try for northerns with a lighter version of a west coast bone jig (salas or tady). The west coast version is a shaped bar of aluminum or zinc (heavy for depth) but has great action. I'm convinced a duplicated alumilite version painted as a perch or whatever forage will be very successfull. LG
