pete s.
he was one of the earliest plastic worm manufacturers and innovators. he was one the earliest producers of plastic worms(creme was probably the first commercially) and the first to put scent into worms. he actually put grape flavor into his grape colored worms ;and strawberry into his red worms ,and so forth. he got the idea from the flavoring available in his wifes kitchen. still today his 6 to 10 in curl tail worms are killers for bass fishing. especially at night. his straight tail worm is the fore runner of the trick worms of the today and might still rival the fish catch ability of todays worms. about all we had then was creme and manns plastic worms. and the creme worm really was hard rubber. but try them they will still catch fish today. most old school guys started our love of bass fishing with manns plastic baits. l went to several of his earliest seminars and found him to be a very friendly and personable human being with a wealth of knowledge....................pete (mho)
Palmetto Balsa
Motor Oil Thanks to Tom Mann. His motor oil worm helped me get hooked on bass fishing. There were many other factors that went into this addiction I have, but the motor oil worm is one of the big ones.
