SeminoleFan
The only molds that I have made my self were Salt Chunk Trailer 3.5" Flippin Craw (my Own Design ) Looking forward to making more. The best mold material that I have used is Fiberglass Resin.. Much Quicker than Plaster of Paris and more Durable.
Ryno Plastics
Rick, Gotta quick question for you. What brand of fiberglass resin do you like to work with? I've always stuck to plaster just becuase it's cheap and easy to work with. About how much does resin run? And one more: Where do you buy the stuff from? Thanks for the help! SeminoleFan
Ryno, I use Bondo Brand Resin, You can buy it at Home Depot or Lowes.. Its about 20 bucks a gallon. I use a pyrex baking sheet and superglue my masters down on it.. Mix it with the Catalyst and pour it in. In about 2 hours I take it out of the sheet and trim the excess off the mold cavaties.. Resin is great because you really dont need anything to make the baits shine.. plus it last a lot longer. Rick
