HAWGHUNNA
Are those pours out of a S.C.Customs 2 piece mold? I'm torn between the Shawn's 6 1/2" 2 pc.,Del's new 6 1/4" 2 pc.(fully round) and Bob's 6" 2 pc.(fully round). Also Del's 1 pc. Diamond tail puts out some sweet pours...but with my poor vision...I'm trimming flash with the one piece molds. And I'm a little curious about the action on the 2 pc. trick molds as opposed to the ORIGINAL TRICK WORM. As far as your pours jmik 26....they look great... And "a June Bug Trick Worm is munny in tha bank".
jmik26
I actually got the mold from Javier at bass8baits but I think Shawn Collins cut the mold. The mold is a 10 cavity injection mold, scary how quick you can pump out 100 worms ... Got some great ideas for core shots, keep you guys posted on the results..... MDC
I like the one with the blue tail, and the chartreuse one is pretty cool too Never knew they came in any color other than watermelon/red flake
jmik26
Hawghunna big fan of June Bug also, have to use up my Zoom's first though . As far as were to get the mold from, I got molds from all the guys and they all do great work, can't go wrong with any of them. For me two piece molds are the best. jmik26
MDC - Yeah black and blue is one of my favorite stained water spring baits. I can't believe that nobody makes one. Anywho, the goal is to make colors the big guys don't make, hard to beat Zoom's 20 for $3.49 . The other color is actually what we call Salty Melon and works great for dog days of summer clear water. MDC
J/K about the watermelon/red. I know what you mean about making different colors. Wish I had a quarter for everytime some one ask "hey can you match 'insert major mfg here' ...'insert a color that every major mfg makes here', that's the best ever". BassnRandy
If you are going to do core shots. Try rootbeer (lots of small black flake) with a purple core with .008 gold flake. Both have to be translucent for the coloe to come out. I callit rasberry coffee. It has been a awsome color for me in layered pours. Don't know what it resembles but the smalies love the heck out of it.
One Sock
Watermelon red with pearl would be nice, also straight up black( personal favorite), nightcrawler, for a core shot go with clear with silver flake and black core shot. i'd float those behind a carolina rig anyday. Nice job!!
