robalo01
Does anyone here make blade baits? Is this the right forum?
lilcraw
I pour around 2000 blade baits a season, nothing fancy at all, silver and brass, I do have some prism tape in red and chart. that I can stick on them. I use a VMC clip on treble hook also a VMC red hook as well, The mold is the older Do-It mold in the 1/4 oz and 5/8 oz.
EC Musky Dude
I have some blades but have not put any together, still need to get a couple jigs for them. Another excuse to put an order in! I've never seen one in the water and am anxious to try em out.
tinman
Got the same 1/4 thru 5/8 oz Do-it mold. Make some from lead & some tin to vary weights. Made some big prototypes out of some #7 .040 musky willow blades a couple days ago & epoxied a 1 oz rubber core sinker (minus rubber) to the belly. They look like an overgrown Reef Runner Cicada. Haven't tried 'em yet though.
Hairjig
i have fooled around the last couple of years I have fooled around the last couple of years with a new stand up blade bait. What I mean by stand up is it stands up on the bottom. Works great through the ice for walleyes and saugeyes. I only make one size 1/4oz.
