flabasspond
Hello! I need some help locating a strange (at least to me) type of buzzbait blade. I had a client out on Lake Kissimmee last week and he had a buzzbait with this odd egg -beater shaped blade. It was given to him by someone else and did not know the make, but he said his guy is sponsered by Lucky Craft. Could this be a L.C. bait? It was obviously a very high quality bait. I thought I has seen them all. It had a very interesting sound (more of a whirling sound)and it CAUGHT FISH! He caught 4 on it before the sun got too high (to my 2 on my "normal" homemade buzzbait but I had the big one lol) another friend suggested it might be a "members only" type of bait,I understand L.C. does that from time to time. Any help would be appreciated...

flabasspond
close...but no cigar. The blade seemed a bit thinner. I wish I had taken a picture!
flabasspond
Thanks DP it was close...I think its a HELIX BUZZ (made by the same company as your example) but without seeing a much better picture or actually holding one it would be hard to say absolutely. Does anyone know if these blades are patented, or if they are available in the aftermarket? Somebody must have used these blades, any comments? Again any information would be great! Thanks....
