I"ll be using it in a tournament this weekend, hope it still catches fish. David Reid Posted May 9, 2007 Report Share Posted May 9, 2007 It looks good and I like your use of a double hook rather than a treble. Certainly would help with Catch and Release for undersized fish. If I have only one complaint since I became a member of this site that would be it the amount of lures utilising treble hooks in North America. I have also seen lures with 3 trebles. Its hard to break with tradition the established way of doing things and its something a lot of people never thought or think about I suppose. Its a direction I started heading down myself a few years ago until I saw the damage I was inflicting upon a lot of small undersized fish. Thankfully I have grown a little wiser as I have got a little older and I am now returning almost undersized fish I catch to fight another day and provide more sport.
