Muddy Tires
Thanks Rick...I tried to pattern the lure's shape after the Lake Whitefish. I am working on another version that will have a scale pattern and a more realistic colour scheme. I will post a pic when I get it finished. Big Splash
Looks good Greg, The blk/wht pattern works well for our lake trout (red/ wht is just about my #1 choice). Are those fins made of metal? Where do you fish for them?

Skeeter
Very nice looking lure. I really like where the rear hook hanger is located. What is it made of? Skeeter
Muddy Tires
The fins are made from one eigth inch aluminum plate that I recycled from an old road sign. The body is made from a cedar fence plank and is held onto the aluminum by two stainless steel screws. I made the eyes from a couple of screws I took out of a broken VCR. The diving lip is from a piece of Lexan used to protect around a door lock. It took a few tries at bending the Lexan to get the right action but I finally got it to work just like I wanted.
