nova
David; it's smoke to me. There is a slight difference depending on the background. If you look at the second set of pics you can see on the top one below the swimbait there is a clearer line, which actually is the reflection of the white background, just above that the line shows on my monitor as light smoke. on the bottome pic the center of the plastic shows the reflection of the background which is tan colored. If you look at the ends of the plastic that is where I see the light smoke. Is you monitor set to "true color"? www.novalures.com
saint308
Bull***t! Tonight it looks green. Maybe it is the tequila... but that looks green. Just joking guys, I don't drink tequila anymore..........after 7:00. After seeing the top of the first pic. I might could see some smoke in there. Saint. David Reid
Thanks Nova. Will check and make sure it is set to True Colour at some point which I believe it is. Long time since I have done it so I need to look up exactly how to do it again. Never enough hours in the day as it is. (OK for you guys up there as you head in to summer but we are now heading into Winter proper although its still pretty mild here. Yeah the sooner I get my supplies down the sooner I am going to sort that colour aspect out and start learning. In the meantime I have so many other things to do as well. nova
Winter? Where are you? www.novalures.com
David Reid
New Zealand = No Bass, plenty of good brown and rainbow trout plus salmon in the S Island, and heaps of good saltwater fish.
Flying Fish
It looks like there are two different sizes of blue flake in the bait. Or it might just be the fact that I'm a few Budweisers in at this point.

saint308
David: I fished Lake Taupo (sp?) once in New Zealand. We caught some real nice rainbows. That is one of prettiest countries I have ever been to. Saint.
David Reid
Saint, Sure is. Did you get to the South Island? even prettier. My mothers family came here in 1840 and my fathers in 1860 and I can see why they stayed. Still mind you all places are pretty and nice places if you have the right attitude and dont go to freeload like so many people do nowadays. Its an attitude thing. I have spent 7.5 years of my life travelling and working overseas and I dont think there is one place that I havnt enjoyed or wouldnt go again. Have never got to the US but it may and probably will happen one day.
