lilcraw
Please find below a letter of an annual event coming up on June 23, 2007 I have been involved in this in the past and it was a worthwhile success, as a lure making I find I have alot of lures, jigs etc. laying all over the place that was off color or mispours, not those perfect ones we like to pass on nor sell, so I have found a HAPPY HOME for them by donating them to this cause to be given away to the kids that day. If any of you can help out in any way please do and send something to the gentleman on the letter head, you will be helping our future and also getting a warm feeling of helping put a smile on the face of a youngster starting out in this GREAT SPORT. Jason Brinkman 228 East Kimberly Lane Kendallville, Indiana 46755 To whom it may concern: The other morning while watching the local news on TV I noticed 50% of the headlines were drug related with solutions being, new and harsher penalties for drug offenses. I think it is time we as a nation need to address the drug problem and not let it ever reach the penalty phase, that seems to be a smarter solution to the problem. My father was an avid fisherman and instilled the rewards of fishing in both my brothers and I at a very early age. He taught us that Mother Nature gives us so much in all her splendor if we only take the time to stop and take a moment to see and hear it. He taught us the joy of fishing didn't always come with catching fish, but more in the time spent gaining knowledge to better ourselves another day. I want to pass these valuable lessons on and have formed a day of fishing for Kids accompanied by an Adult. THUS: KIDS DAY. At Kids Day the adult will not be allowed to fish, they will be a mentor, teacher and coach for the day, spending something lost in this fast pace world "QUALITY TIME" with a child. At the end of the day ALL kids will be a winner whether they caught a fish or not, each child will leave that day with breakfast, dinner, a hat, T-shirt, trophy, rod/reel and a tackle box full of tackle to keep them fishing and most importantly, a SMILE and a memory that will last a lifetime. Kids Day can only be a success with help from you, I remember oh so well my first fish, the rod, the reel, the lure and to this day those brand names still hold a special memory each time I head out fishing. Any contribution will be greatly appreciated, I am not going to say that your company will thrive in 2007 because of your support, but if a smile is worth a million dollars, then that I can guarantee. OUR MOTTO at Kids Day is.............GET HOOKED ON FISHING NOT DRUGS Thank You
