I have a casting rod made by diawa Its a good rod but most of my fishing is done out of a kayak.Transporting it is a hassle due to it being a 1 piece. Is there a way to make it a 2 piece ? I know that the action will change a little. I mostly use it to troll so thats not an issue. I don't want to spend another 70 bucks for another rod any suggestions You could...but it would take a bit of rod building skills. And another section of rod blank that's just the right diameter.
