kendo
I have a surplus of 4mil 4"x6" bags and I was trying to find out if anyone would be interested. I'm thinking about selling them for 12.00 + s&h for 100 bags. I am not sure if I will sell them or not but if enough people are interested I could part with most of them. Sorry everyone the bags are 6"x4" WxL 4" tall 6" wide perfect for sticks.

HAWGHUNNA
I guess being 4 mil....these bags will do as well as Laminated bags as far as not leaking worm oils ? Count me in for an order or two.
alsworms
I guess being 4 mil....these bags will do as well as Laminated bags as far as not leaking worm oils ?. Unfortunately, no. Don't get me wrong.......4 mil is a top quality bag, but I've still had problems with oils leaking in them. I'm not having any problems with the laminated bags though. charmerbaits
You guys need to check out papermart on the web. You can get 1000 4 mil bags for less than $30. 4mil bags are fine but they are not as good as the laminated bags. We use to use that standard ziplock style in 4 mil but they do not maintain as well as the laminated. Also if you use any type of labels on your bags they will stick better to laminated. kendo
Hey charlie can you explain to me what the difference is in laminated and non laminated poly bags? The box on mine says 6"x4" lami poly bags. I have been looking at different bags and i dont see any difference. Just want to know what the difference is. charmerbaits
Lami-Poly are not the same as laminated bags. Check out the link below for laminated bags. Poly bags are typically just heavier/thicker version of your everyday sandwhich bags. They have a wider seal all around the bag and hold scents and oils better than poly bags. http://www.inpactpoly.com/fishingtackleluresbags.html Charlie

Just want to know what the difference is. charmerbaits you know what I wanted to put your theory up to the test and you were right. These 4mil bags are great BUT they leak really nasty. 1 day and all the oil on my bait had run dry and the bags smelled like scent. I squeezed a little oil by the seam and it dripped out. So sorry to everyone that wanted bags I am going to see about some laminate bags. Thanks everyone for your info! This is why i keep coming back..you guys rock
charmerbaits
I didn't want to bust your bubble but normal ziplock bags are fine for short term storage if there are no oils or scents on the baits. Glad I could help. Charlie
