wilfish4774
I was browsing through the net and came across this site. This site is exactly what I have been looking for for the longest time. Pompano fishing from the panhandle of florida and making jigs to catch them is one of my most thought of passtimes. Through the years I have fished for many different species of fish and have settled on Pompono fishing as my main selection of specie to go after. Thirty years would be a fair estimate of the number of years that I have been fishing for this fish but only eighteen or twenty years have been spent fashioning jigs to catch them. I like to think that I make a pretty good Pompano jig but of course I am biased. Now that I have the expertise and ideas of all of the truely professional lure makers I am excited about the jigs that I will be making in the future! Just browsing through the pics that are on the site I am awe struck at the level of perfection, detail, and most of all the creativity that is evidenced in these craftsmen's work. Thanks for letting me come on board.

wilfish4774
Thanks for the compliment and sure I will share my experience. Let me get my camera set up and I will let you have a look at them. Infact I have come up with some arraingments that seem to work really well in certain deeper water situations. I have been looking at that new do it mold (ultra-minnow) and it really looks like it could have promise as a pompano jig under certain situations. At the very least the mold looks like it should be able to give us jig makers a platform for our creativity. It might even catch a few fish as well.
