Wayupnorth36
I am a new guy just getting into making lures, I make all musky lures at this point. I was wondering if adding or leaving off lure eyes makes much of a difference on musky baits. I had thought for the most part that musky, with their poor eyesight, wouldn't be as finicky as to notice lure eyes or the lack of them. I would prefer to keep the costs low by not adding unnecessary components.
BobP
No one can say how fish "think". But some believe that seeing the prey's eyes is an important part of the capture routine for predators. If you want to save on components, it looks perfectly OK to paint the eyes on.
