I heard Navionics is a good brand. Can someone let me know what the best of the best is out there? I live in Illinois. I don't mind spending the money for a good card, but I don't want to get ripped off either. I really don't know much about this. Any help would be appreciated. dampeoples Posted July 6, 2007 Report Share Posted July 6, 2007 I prefer the Fishing Hot Spots Elite, the zoom level goes further than the Navionics from what I've seen. Of Interest, check out the free maps on the Lowrance site, they seem to be the same detail as the Navionics maps I've seen. bassmaster1974 Posted July 7, 2007 Report Share Posted July 7, 2007 I always used Hot Spots Elite until recently.Navionics has released some new cards on some lakes with 1' contour lines.Those are worth their weight in gold.If they have your lake with 1' lines....hands down get it.
