ghost Posted July 14, 2007 Report Share Posted July 14, 2007 This kinda applies to everyone so thought I would put it here. I am new to selling my lures and am curious how you guys got your start. I have a loyal base of local customers that buy the majority of my stuff. The local shops carry my stuff but that is about it. I just got my website up and running and have a few ways I promote my stuff out of the local arena. When I travel I usually try to stop at a few bait shops along the way but I have learned that my sales ability is lacking. So my question is for you guys. How did you go about getting the word out? Is advertising on websites worth the money? I have found a few fishing sites that have decent prices for advertising but not sure if its worth it or not.
