nyfisherman Posted July 16, 2007 Report Share Posted July 16, 2007 i am getting pretty comfortable with pouring and had some questions. i am pouring out of a presto pot from ozark. it is great when i am pouring aluminum molds but i cant pour LC's molds for nothing! i alway get it all over and then when i trim it it doesnt look right at all. question #1 what is the best thing to use for pouring one piece resin molds?? Question #2 who sells the best salt? question#3 who sells licorice scent? question#4 are there any good links on tackleunderground for laminates?(i looked first couldnt find any) question#5 are there any good threads on injection process? thanks for any help! also i will post soon two piece molds i made myself Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
millsryno Posted July 16, 2007 Report Share Posted July 16, 2007 #1 - I think it is always best to learn with pyrex and learn the characteristics of that mold before you start using the pot. Some molds do better when you start and end in certain spots. #2 - Many topics on salt on the forums. It is best to try and find it locally as it is expensive to ship. Regular popcorn salt is the best start. #3 - Licorice scent is Anise Scent. You can get pure anise online. Just do a search for it. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
