MACHINIST Posted July 19, 2007 Report Share Posted July 19, 2007 Yes I will do custom molds and I already have a few testers.I am working on a trick worm right now and will be doing anything that anyone wants.O.K. guys let me know what you would like to see and I will see what I should work on next.First one is the three peice mold that nyfisherman wants and after that it is the trick worm mold that saint308 wants.I will post up the pics and they can let everyone know how they turn out.I am hoping to be done with them by friday or saturday. What I had in mind was e-mailing a DXF file from my CAD system, which will represent my 3D model. This file would be used by your processor and the tool path would be created. This method would involve minimum work on your side and provide me with the mould that I had in mind. I am assuming that you are using a CNC machine. If it is a manually operated machine then all is lost. Give me your thoughts. I can receive PM's but cannot send, best PM me your email for direct contact. MACHINIST Posted July 28, 2007 Report Share Posted July 28, 2007 I will have some more epics for you guys in the next week.Alchi and I are fine tuning the trick worm and nyfisherman and I are fine tuning the stick mold.I am pretty confident that they are really close if not good as they can get.I want to thankalchi and nyfisherman for there help in getting my few first molds to the production line.As soon as I can meet up with ny fisherman we will pour the stick mold and alchi is going to pour the trick and let me know.If the stick and trick come out good then I will run off a few of each and then move onto the next mold.I will tell you guys that it is getting close to hunting season and my hours are subject to change:lol: ,just joking.I will do my best to get as many molds under my belt and then I willl run 6 or so of each and put them on the shelf for whoever calls in an order.
